Author G. Ramanan was born and raised in India, but has been living and working in the United States for the past forty years. His previous books, which are primarily short story collections, have won widespread praise. The Murder of a Judge is his fourth book and his first full-length mystery novel. He is planning on this being the first book in a mystery series featuring the same police inspector. Mr. Ramanan is an avid reader and mysteries are his favorite genre.
