About the Author

Dr. Ghosh Thinnakkakath is an accomplished enterprise technology leader, author, educator, and SAP practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in SAP, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, project management, and digital transformation.

He began his SAP journey in 1994, working with SAP R/3 as a Basis and ABAP professional. Since then, he has experienced SAP’s evolution firsthand—from the early days of R/3 and ERP to HANA, S/4HANA, cloud platforms, clean-core strategies, and SAP Business AI. Throughout his career, he has held technical, consulting, project leadership, service delivery, and client engagement roles across global organizations and industries.

Dr. Thinnakkakath holds doctoral degrees in Information Technology and Business, along with an MBA and a master’s degree in Mathematics. He is also a PMP-certified professional and holds certifications in SAP, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.

Through his books, research, teaching, and professional contributions, he seeks to make complex technologies understandable while highlighting the importance of responsible innovation, human judgment, lifelong learning, and purposeful leadership.
