A tale of two broken souls, bound by fate, learning to heal their hearts and find love.
Amal’s Defiance
In every phase of my life, I have known loss. I lost my mother. I lost my sister. And I was left surviving the aftermath of a marriage that should never have happened.
Still, I gathered the broken pieces of my life and carried on. I poured love and whatever sweetness I had left into the people who still needed me, the innocent souls who deserved everything.
But with them came their father. The man I couldn’t stand. The man I didn’t trust.
Yet life kept forcing us into the same space, and the lines I had drawn so carefully began to blur.
The man I swore to keep at a distance became the one presence I could not ignore, the one I found myself turning to, whether I wanted to or not.
Saad’s Guilt
I was a broken man, carrying a guilt that refused to loosen its grip. Grief doesn't heal when you believe you are the one to blame. Still, I woke each day for my daughters. I smiled for them and kept putting one foot in front of the other. They needed me, and that had to be enough. I convinced myself I could do it alone.
Then she stepped into my life, fierce and unrelenting, refusing to let me hide behind silence. I resisted. She stayed. Little by little, somewhere between the arguments and the understanding, I found something I never expected to feel again.
Hope.
Because the woman who challenged me the most was also the one who patiently showed me that life could still hold love, laughter and happiness.
