About the Author

Jayashree Gopal is a physician and writer/story-teller, living, working and writing in the city of Chennai, India. She grew up reading (actually devouring) books of many genres, and was most happy to escape into times long gone. She was always writing books (mostly in her head) as life (read marriage, kids, training and a full time busy career) kept her busy. Finally, she decided to set pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and churned out her first book - “To Laugh Again”. It is a South-Indian Historical Romance - set in the time of the rule of the Imperial Cholas - a glorious dynasty who ruled much of South India between 850 AD and 1300 AD.
