I am venturing into poetry, as in few carefully crafted words and precise lines I am able to encapsulate intricate insights and share profound reflections.
The collection is a reflection of my time spent with my grandchildren, Siddharth and Khushi, during the winter in Delhi. They capture the essence of our shared moments, the adventures of our travels, and my introspective journey through a unique neurological condition. In the face of an illness with seemingly no cure, I have discovered solace in the act of writing poems, admiring the cosmos, and undertaking journeys, supported by the unwavering assistance of family, dedicated assistants, and walking aids.
The verses reflect my observations and life intersections, minor it may seem but which offered me immense wisdom like ripples on the sacred waters of the Ganga, Scooty Chronicles with my grandchildren, Jaipur Safari, Lessons in Humility, Misplaced Perception, Overcoming Fear, and my own Battery of tests, falls and fight with mobility impairment. I found two dogs in the park, who empathise with me, and despise walk or fetching ball and prefer napping in the sun.
I learnt to have joy penned through poetry about my motorised wheel chair with grandkids in glee and feel of a Merc, enjoying foodie meets in park, wondering in awe at the mysteries of cosmos and if one equation could ever define its laws, and relaxing and refiring to continue zest in my life.
The frustration blaring though debates on TV of jobs being taken away by AI made me write few lines to dispel the wrong notions about AI, ChatGPT and loss of jobs.
As you read these verses, you may find resonance with your own experiences and interpretations. Let these poems be a companion in your exploration of life's journey and the limitless possibilities of the human spirit.
