I'm Jyrah, and I'm ten years old. I go to Mayflower School in Vellore, where I'm in Grade 6. Besides school, I'm also a big sister to my energetic seven-year-old brother. I love performing, dancing, and singing – it's what I do best!

I used to be homeschooled, and you know what helped me learn English? Singing! Now, I'm helping other kids who don't have English-speaking friends or family by teaching them songs. But here's the thing – some songs have lyrics that aren't so good for kids. My parents weren't happy when they heard me singing those songs, so I decided to do something about it.

That's why I rewrote the lyrics to some of those songs. Now they're suitable for everyone to sing along to. This book is full of those songs, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
