Description

Modern Duty. Ancient Karma. An Impossible Choice.

What if Bhagwan Krishna walked into your living room on the worst night of your life?

On the eve of a high-stakes police operation, Deputy Commissioner of Police Gita stands frozen at the edge of an unbearable moral abyss.

The high-risk cartel target she is ordered to neutralize isn't a stranger—it is Karan, her own brother. Worse, he is the only son of the saintly parents who rescued Gita from a cold, abandoned garbage bin as an infant and raised her as their own.

Bound by strict operational secrecy, Gita is legally forbidden from uttering a single word to anyone—not her husband, not her parents, and certainly not her brother. Trapped in absolute isolation, unable to lean on a single human soul, her mind fractures under the crushing weight of an unpayable family debt and her uncompromising pledge to the law.

Desperate and completely alone in the dark, her silent breaking point triggers the extraordinary.

An unexpected guest arrives in her living room—dapper, serene, and radiating an ancient, unshakeable peace. What unfolds is a fast-paced, deeply emotional, and intellectually electrifying dialogue between modern human anxiety and eternal spiritual wisdom.

As Krishna systematically dismantles her fears through logic, humor, and cosmic vision, Gita’s personal crisis unearths a staggering, multi-millennial secret about her soul’s true past—one that will redefine her entire existence.

Adapted from the full-length play of the same name, When Krishna Came for Gita is a gripping, contemporary novelization of the Bhagavad Gita.

Inside this novel, you will discover:

The Bhagavad Gita in Plain English: Ancient Vedantic philosophy translated into crisp, modern dialogue addressing daily stress, career burnout, and emotional trauma.
A High-Stakes Story Arc: An intense, fiction-first psychological drama that explores the depths of human anxiety while offering profound spiritual healing.
Practical Wisdom for Modern Battles: Actionable insights on Karma Yog, Bhakti Yog, and Gyan Yog, mastering the mind (Manas & Buddhi), overcoming emotional traps, and executing your duty without fear.
An Invaluable Companion for Performers & Directors: Beyond a standalone novel, this text illuminates the unspoken subtext, hidden backstories, and internal psychological beats beneath every line of the stage play—serving as an essential character study for actors and directors alike.
