This book is on “Madhu Vidya” one of the thirty-two “BrahmVidyas”- wisdom or doctrines identified by scholars in the Upanishads. Meditations on these Vidyas are slated to lead to great wisdom and awareness.
In Chhandogya Upanishad, it is explained as the nectar or essence of all Vidyas, extracted from all books of knowledge including Vedas, Brahmans, Upanishads and books of History and Puranas. In the other Upanishad, it tells us that everything is organically related to everything else in the world. When you touch anything, you are touching everything. Everything is vitally connected, just like flower providing Honey to Honey bee reciprocated by Honey Bee providing pollination. This point of interconnected and mutual dependence of all animate and inanimate parts of creation is really a magnificent theme in the Bṛihadaranyaka and is well-known as Madhu-Vidya. This has great significance in modern world as the basis of sustainable development.

This great wisdom has been presented in Sanskrit and a very simple Hindi for understanding of general public and in a very interesting way. The myths associated with the Vidya provided through horse's mouth to Ashwini duo and other stories regarding Indra and Dadhichi are very interestingly woven in the book.
