Shankara , in his commentary on major Upanishads, particularly explained the importance of these Brahm Vidyas. He said that continued meditation on one or more of the Brahm Vidyas is very helpful in attaining sameness with the Brahm. One may reach Saguna brahm initially, but continued meditation finally leads to Nirguna Brahm.
