Description

If you desire to read Upanishads, but consider it difficult to start because of lack of books in simple Hindi, your wait is over. We present you the best of pearls of wisdom from Upanishads in a very simple and lucid form. These pearls of wisdom are the famous 35 Brahm Vidyas identified by Vyasa in his Brahm Sutra.
Shankara , in his commentary on major Upanishads, particularly explained the importance of these Brahm Vidyas. He said that continued meditation on one or more of the Brahm Vidyas is very helpful in attaining sameness with the Brahm. One may reach Saguna brahm initially, but continued meditation finally leads to Nirguna Brahm.
It is important to note that there is no need of any mediator, such as priest, pandit, etc. between one and Brahm. Also, one need not follow any specific method or rites in Upasana of God.
Shankara, with the help of these pearls of wisdom wisdom from Upanishads. Brahm Sutra and the Bhagvad Gita , propounded the Vedanta Philosophy, which is considered the essence of Hinduism.
This three-book series discusses the process of Yoga and meditation from Patanjali Yoga-Sutra, the principles of meditation from Upanishads, and the way to attain Brahm as described by the Bhagvad gita.
This final part of the series includes details of twelve Brahm Vidyas such as Gayatri Vidya, Nachiketa Vidya, Anandamaya Vidya, and others. It also discusses the way shown by Lord Krishna in the Gita, and finally, the process of attaining Liberation.
This Liberation is not from life, but from ignorance and bondage.
