Description
Their marriage is dying.
So they escape to Ladakh, hoping the stark magnificence of the mountains will reignite what their lives have quietly extinguished. But somewhere on the desolate road to Hundar, between the Himalayas and the Karakoram, their journey is derailed. Their driver, Lobsang, who secretly fantasizes about Renuka, leads them to a forgotten place, sealed off by the authorities and erased from the maps for reasons no rational mind dares to investigate.
By nightfall, they realize they are not alone.
Something has been waiting there.
Something that knows their fears. Their secrets. Their desires.
Can Renuka and Manav uncover its horrifying truth before the place claims them forever? Will Lobsang’s sinister intentions finally consume them? Or is there something far more malevolent waiting to exploit the fractures in their already crumbling marriage?
Because sometimes, the most terrifying things are not the ones haunting the ruins.
They are the ones we carry within ourselves.
Kluvst returns with a chilling, relentless horror thriller where lust, betrayal, and the supernatural converge in a fight for survival.
Some places are abandoned for a reason.
Kluvst writes where imagination meets the darker corners of the human mind.
Drawn to suspense, horror, and thrillers, he enjoys creating intriguing plots populated by engaging characters and stories that reveal their secrets one layer at a time. Writing was never a carefully mapped career ambition for him. It began simply as a passion, and even today, there are times when he writes purely because a story wants to be told, without any thought of publishing it.
An avid reader, Kluvst is fascinated by the power of stories to transport, unsettle, and linger. His writing has also been shaped by a life rich in experiences. He has travelled extensively, worked with multiple global companies, and acted in plays. Having encountered the many turns and contradictions of life, he draws upon them when creating his characters, giving them depth, individuality, and at times, an almost intoxicating quality, as many of his readers have observed.
His love for storytelling extends naturally into the visual realm. He sometimes adds graphic illustrations to his stories, bringing scenes and imagined worlds vividly to life, although not every story carries illustrations. His fondness for paintings and illustrations has also led him to publish multiple coloring books.
Beyond writing and art, he enjoys gymming and maintaining his physical fitness. His interest in balancing the different demands of life inspired him to publish a time planner for self-improvement, designed to help readers organize their time, maintain a healthier work-life balance, and make room for physical well-being.
There is another important thread running through his life: technology. Kluvst began his professional career as a software engineer and and has since built a career in the broader field of technology, specializing in software management and consultation alongside his writing. His life, therefore, moves between two very different worlds, the precision of software and the boundless possibilities and unpredictability of fiction. Somewhere between them, however, stories begin to stir, characters acquire voices, strange possibilities take shape, and the ordinary world develops a crack through which something darker, stranger, or more fascinating can emerge. And that is where his stories begin.
