Security, scale, and compliance are one design problem.
Most enterprise AI programmes hand security, scale and compliance to three different teams and hope the parts meet in the middle. This book treats them as a single design problem and shows what changes when they are built together.
Ten chapters work through the layers of a production generative AI system. A guardrail classifier that decays as the attack traffic shifts. A retrieval pipeline fixed at a depth that is wrong for most queries. A policy engine reasoning over static rules against an adversary who is anything but static. Each chapter sets out why the usual implementation fails, replaces it with a mechanism that carries a stated guarantee, and reports what that guarantee costs.
Written for the engineer or architect who has to defend a design to a security review board rather than demonstrate it on a slide. The mathematics sits at graduate level, the examples come from systems under real load, and the limitations are stated rather than deferred.
