A name practice book that works for any child. A grown-up writes the name in dots on the first line of each writing page. The child traces it, then writes it on the lines below, with rows that get smaller as the hand gets surer. Pencil warm-ups and first-letter pages come first. Then the book mixes four writing pages with letter pages to colour, name cards to decorate, letter hunts, counting pages and pictures to write a name on. Ten All About Me pages ask for a drawing and a few words: my family, my home, my favourite food. Wide handwriting lines and lots of space suit first writers, and Chiku, Tara and Kudimi cheer the writer on. Fifty-six pages on large A4 paper. Because the name is written in by a grown-up, the same book works for every child, in any language that uses the Latin alphabet, and for siblings who each want a book of their own. Part of the Kudimi Activity Books series. This is the colour edition: the friends, pictures and page trims print in full colour, the lines to trace stay dark, and every picture to colour has a small colour guide beside it.
