Description

The work involves the study of stress behavior of a Compressor disc and its Blades. Thereafter, the Stress Sensitivities i.e. variations in stress due to changes in certain geometrical dimensions is found out. First phase of analysis consists of 2-D Axisymmetric stress sensitivity analysis of Disc cross section considering the static loads i.e. Centrifugal loads due to self-weight and blades and the changes in stress due to variation in certain geometric parameters.

About the Author

Kunal Singh did BE in Mechanical Engineering from MIT Manipal (Manipal University) in 2014. Completed M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering ( Specialization in Machine Design) from ISM (IIT Dhanbad) Dhanbad in 2016. He is NTSE scholar (state level) of Madhya Pradesh. He was awarded with Merit Certificate from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi for securing 10th rank in KV Junior Mathematics Olympiad. Assam Academy of Mathematics also awarded Merit Certificate to him. This book is published form of his M.Tech. thesis. Presently working with a Startup at Bangalore.
