Description

Antelope Mirage does not wait for you. It pulls you inward.
The desert lies to keep you thirsty, and every page becomes water that burns before it heals. This book dismantles inherited cages—duty, silence, obedience—and rewrites their architecture in fire. A mirage learns your name. A vine becomes resistance. Law becomes lock, and lock becomes fracture.
Love arrives armed. Loss wears a crown. Silence is no longer absence but evidence. Kitchens turn into battlegrounds of memory, and ordinary life reveals its hidden verdicts.
Each line enters like a shard—unavoidable, precise, alive. You do not skim this book; you move through it as something is being taken apart and rebuilt at the same time.
Breaking is not collapse. It is initiation.
The self is unmade, then sharpened.
This is not poetry. It is jurisdiction of becoming.
The cage is empty.
You are already moving through its exit.

About the Author

She came from Odisha, where soil remembers every monsoon, the Mahanadi speaks in silt and salt and temple stone has memorized the weight of prayer. Odisha gave her her first language: monsoon, roots, the grammar of rivers that refuse to be dammed. She answered with degrees — BSc to decode the earth, LLB to decode the bars. She studied law the way a prisoner studies the blueprint of her cell. Not to stay. To know where the hinges are.
She is housewife by role and insurgent by ritual. She can proudly say that, being housewife is not a diminishment. It is a domain. She rules it with ladles and ink, writes between simmering pots and sleepless nights.
For a season she wore corporate halls like a borrowed skin. The air was recycled. The hours were not her own. But under the name Chikun Panda, she was already practicing resurrection — co-author and co-compiler of various anthologies, she gathered other women’s confessions while her own grew teeth. She bound books before she bound herself to her own name.
