Sri Krishna Leelas is a comprehensive literary retelling of the complete divine pastimes of Bhagavan Sri Krishna, from the cosmic moment He decides to descend to Earth through every phase of His earthly sojourn, to His final departure from the mortal world and the submersion of His golden city of Dwaraka beneath the western sea.

Spanning 39 chapters organized into seven books, this volume follows the life of Krishna age by age: the divine descent and miraculous birth in a prison cell; the enchanting infancy in the pastoral village of Gokula, where He slew demons with the ease of a child at play; the magical childhood in Vrindavana’s forests, where He bewildered the creator Brahma and danced on the hoods of the serpent Kaliya; the revolutionary boyhood in which He challenged the king of heaven and lifted a mountain on His little finger;

A retired mechanical engineer with decades of experience in systematic problem-solving and detailed analysis, he has channeled his methodical approach toward exploring the vast, multi-layered tapestry of Krishna’s divine pastimes as recorded in the Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Purana, Harivamsha, and other authoritative Vedic and Puranic texts. The same precision and attention to detail that characterized his engineering profession now serves a different purpose: tracing genealogical lineages across Puranic records, cross-referencing scriptural accounts between multiple source texts, and organizing 39 chapters of divine narrative into a coherent seven-volume structure that follows the chronological arc of Krishna’s earthly sojourn.

Following a successful engineering career, Krishna Rao discovered his passion for writing, initially focusing on science fiction and personal finance. His published works span a remarkably eclectic range — from imaginative fiction to practical guides on saving and investing — demonstrating a versatility that serves him well in the present work, where vivid narrative must coexist with philosophical exposition, where the poetry of Sanskrit shlokas must sit alongside systematic theological analysis.

However, it was the call of the scriptures that drew him to his most
