Manas Mondal joined the Indian Navy in 1995, where he served for fifteen years. His years in the Navy shaped him with discipline, courage, leadership, resilience, and a deep sense of service to the nation. After retiring from the Navy, he worked with Reliance Industries in Jamnagar for one year and then spent fourteen years and three months in leadership roles at Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GSFC).
After nearly thirty-one years of professional life, Manas made a conscious decision to return to his roots. He left behind the security of a successful corporate career and came back to Kolkata, the city that had remained deeply connected to his memories and identity.
