Manoj Srivastava is a seasoned Chemical Technologist with over 38 years of experience in the lubrication industry. He graduated in 1987 from UDCT (now called ICT), Mumbai University, and later earned a diploma in Operations Research Management in 1990 from Mumbai University. Throughout his career, he has worked with renowned lubricant companies, including Castrol, OKS Specialty, Carl Bechem GmbH, Klüber Lubrication, Fuchs, and briefly with Total. His expertise spans strategic planning, plant operations, process optimization, and enhancing productivity, with a proven track record of achieving operational efficiency while reducing costs.
Manoj has contributed significantly to the lubrication sector, particularly in India and Africa (Tanzania), and has been a guest speaker at international forums such as the ICIS’ 5th African Base Oils & Lubricants Conference. His experience also includes conducting lubrication surveys, audits, and providing training for end customers including oil majors like Indian Oil Corp, Hindustan Petroleum Corp etc. under aegis of VAS tribology (licensed partners of Noria Corp, USA). Currently, he works as a technical consultant, taking on part-time assignments to further share his knowledge and expertise in the field.
