Re: MERRY-GO-READS

Love it! Written as a series of short chapters, Merry-Go-Reads is ideal for a quick read - it mixes elements of humour and philosophy at the right proportions. The brilliant narration makes it easy to visualize the people and the places in her stories. Muktha's wit and engaging vocabulary shine throughout. Her style is simple, yet classy. Looking forward to reading your next book!

Re: MERRY-GO-READS

One of the best writers I have read in years, Muktha writes with a flow that instantly brings the reader into the story. I enjoyed the book and read in one sitting (or one cup of hot cocoa) and instantly wanted more. Please keep writing you are a natural and thank you for this little treasure, so awesome.

Re: MERRY-GO-READS

Loved the book. It’s a series of short write-ups on simple things that define our lives, and the author takes you through them in a way that makes you see the funny, the ironic, the significant. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But for occasions when you don’t take a picture, Muktha’s words paint you that picture vividly, bringing a smile to your lips, sometimes just for the memory, but mostly for that little insight that you might have missed.
If at all I have a grouse, it’s that the book is too small. But I look at it this way – here’s a really good author, and Merry-go-reads is just an appetiser preceding more good writing that we can look forward to emerging from her. Any author who describes herself as someone who makes polite conversation with every cat she meets, is my kind of author!
