Description

She vanished in a flood eight months ago. Her husband never stopped looking — he just couldn't look himself.

Detectives Vijay and Vikram take the case, and find a missing woman is the least of what's buried in the Himalayas: a drug empire, a family built on lies, and a secret someone will kill to keep.

Dushyant remembers every second of the day he lost Nirmala — the landslide, the screaming, the two months he spent going camp to camp through the wreckage of India's disaster response, finding nothing. He has made his peace, almost, with never knowing.

Then a photograph surfaces. A woman climbing into a van, her face turned just enough. Vikram's instincts say it's her — and when the evidence lines up, an eight-month-old cold case cracks wide open into something far more dangerous than anyone searching for a flood victim ever expected.

Himalayan Trap — a fast, hardboiled thriller, translated from the acclaimed Kannada novel Himajala by Nagesh Kumar CS.

About the Author
