Description

Karad has always been quiet. Two rivers meet there — Krishna and Koyna. Hills watch over it.

But the hills are not sleeping. They are BREATHING.

Aarya, 17, finds a sealed tunnel behind Ajinkyatara Fort that was closed in 1892. Inside — a giant egg as tall as him, pulsing orange. It hatches! Baby dragon Agni thinks Aarya is his MOMMY!

Now they fly over Karad, over Krishna and Koyna rivers, while the old Keeper warns: There are seven dragons in Sahyadri. The seventh is waking up — the one that burned Panhala in 1674.

Funny, brave, and full of Sahyadri magic. With 4 colorful illustrations inside!

About the Author

Nikhil Botre is a storyteller from Karad, Maharashtra. After his emotional debut "The Postbox on Platform 3" (312 letters to his mother in heaven), he brings his first kids fantasy — The Dragons of Sahyadri — inspired by the hills of Sahyadri, Ajinkyatara Fort, and the rivers Krishna and Koyna. He loves dragons, monsoon, and chai on Karad bridge. This is his second book.
