Description

This book was born from a random conversation.

One day, I spoke with a stranger. In the middle of that brief conversation, he said he believed in destiny. I told him I believed in effort. It was nothing extraordinary—just a simple exchange between two people who would probably never meet again.

Yet that night, I found myself thinking about that conversation. I had never really thought about a conversation with a stranger before. But something about its quiet sincerity stayed with me.

That single thought—why did this moment stay with me?—became the beginning of this book.

Butterflies grew from that reflection: the idea that sometimes the smallest, most unintentional moments can leave behind the deepest echoes.

About the Author

Born and raised in India, Nireeksha began capturing the world in verses and short stories during her college years, finding a sanctuary in the written word that traveled with her when she moved to the United Kingdom.

A soul deeply rooted in the philosophy of coexistence, she finds herself most at home in the quiet corners of nature. She often dreams of a world stripped of the mechanical hum of vehicles and the noise of the digital age—a landscape where the only "traffic" is the rhythmic flow of a waterfall and the only deadline is the setting sun. Her writing is an invitation to return to this simpler state of being, where human connection is treated with the reverence it deserves.

In her debut collection, Butterflies: A Fairy Tale of Poems, Nireeksha explores the delicate bridge between destiny and human effort. She believes that while the stars might map our hearts, it is the consistency of our steps that brings us home. When she isn't writing, she is likely wandering toward the nearest water’s edge, dreaming of her future sanctuary beside a waterfall, where she intends to spend a lifetime turning silence into song.
