In this story, the apocalypse made people better. Centuries of harsh survival during the new ice age taught have the humanity to work together and value human life greatly.

The ice age is coming to an end. But now, the ancient world, almost forgotten by people, is reminding of itself: as climate changes, ancient ice begins to melt sending icebergs full of mysterious things - sometimes beautiful, sometimes dangerous - to wander around the world.

People call these things "ice gifts". And they can be anything.
