प्रश्नोत्तरी आधारित इस पुस्तक में बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग की विभिन्न परीक्षाओं (47वीं से लेकर 63वीं मुख्य परीक्षा) के प्रश्नों को शामिल किया गया है। साथ ही इस पुस्तक में इन वर्षों की मुख्य परीक्षाओं में पूछे गए प्रश्नों का प्रश्न बैंक भी समाहित है। यह जितना बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग की परीक्षा के लिए उपयोगी है, स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए भी उतना ही लाभप्रद है।
इस पुस्तक के लेखन के पीछे मनसा रही है कि प्रतियोगी छात्र-छात्राएं प्रश्नों की प्रकृति को भलिभांति समझें और उसके मुताबिक वांछित उत्तर लिखने की विधि अपनाएं। इसमें प्रश्नों के उत्तर सावधानीपूर्वक, समग्र, सारगर्भित व सरल भाषा में लिखने का प्रयास किया गया है, ताकि प्रतियोगी छात्र-छात्राएं सुगमतापूर्वक इसे आत्मसात कर सकें। प्रश्नों के उत्तर के क्रम में विभिन्न पक्षों में संतुलन बनाते हुए अद्यतन डाटा, ग्राफ, संशोधन व उपबंधों को भी शामिल किया गया है। इसमें बहुत सी दुरूह शब्दावलियों को सरल भाषा में समझाने की कोशिश की गई है। भाषायी शुद्धता व क्रमबद्धता का भी विशेष ध्यान रखा गया है।
