Dr. Prarthita Biswas is a teacher educator and a distinguished author in the field of teacher education.She is presently teaching as an Associate Prof. &Head of the Dept.,M.Ed.Programme Of Pailan College of Education under the banner of PAILAN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, Joka, Kolkata.(Affiliated to The West Bengal University Of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration).She is also a Resource person in the Dept.Of Educaiton of Diamond Harbour Women’s University located near Diamond Harbour.She obtained M.A.and M.Phil. in History from Jadavpur University.She has obtained M.Ed. as well as M.A.in Education.She also completed her Ph.D. Programme from the Dept. of Education, University of Kalyani. She was also awarded scholarship in the year 2015 by the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Tokyo,Japan for presenting a paper on her research area. She has written in more than 20 reputed Journals and more than 40 articles in books. She acted as a Resource Person in International Seminars as well.She also wrote two edited books on "Swami Vivekananda and and Women Emancipation” and “Swami Vivekananda’s Idea of a Rejuvenated India”. She is the Editorial Board Member of reputed Journals in USA&Canada.
