Prerna Kumar sketches, and alternates between reading, writing and content creation to feed her soul. She first picked up the pen - or rather the pencil - in grade three, when she wrote her first poem. Since then, writing has remained a constant companion in her life.

She writes fiction, poetry, blog posts, and short stories for children. Alongside her literary work, she creates storytelling content on geopolitics, history, and human journeys, while also exploring ancient Indian epics, kathas, and timeless narratives around gods, goddesses, and cultural traditions.


Born in Dehradun to an Air Force pilot and a school teacher, Prerna grew up surrounded by books. A large home library encouraged her to develop love for reading from an early age.


Today she balances an exciting life as a writer, content creator, and a working professional.
