Prof. Dr. Prarthita Biswas, Author, Critic & Principal, JANGIPUR COLLEGE (Govt. Sponsored affiliated to the University of Kalyani). Prof. (Dr). Prarthita Biswas [Ph.D. (Education, K.U.), M.A.& M.Phil. (History)-J.U., M.A. (Education & Psychology)-NSOU&IGNOU] is a distinguished scholar, teacher educator and an author in the field of education. She has more than 18 years of experience in teaching, academic administration, research and consultancy projects with Stockholm University, Stockholm, and University Utara Malaysia. She is at present the Principal, Jangipur College which is a Govt. Sponsored college affiliated to the University of Kalyani and is a NAAC Accredited reputed college located in Jangipur, Murshidabad, West Bengal, India. Prof. Biswas has also held senior academic and administrative positions in some of the reputed institutions of higher education in West Bengal. She is a winner of several national and international awards. Additionally, she has published more than 150 papers in national and international levels, more than 25 authored and edited books, 05 Indian patents and 02 copyrights to her credit. She has guided several Ph.D. scholars and some of them were also awarded. She was listed among the top 100 Women achievers of the year award organized by Code Bharat, India. She was awarded with the prestigious South Asian Scholarship Grant from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Tokyo,Japan for her research work on Women Education. She is a NLP coach and a firm believer in lifelong learning process. She is regularly invited in national and international seminars, conferences, symposiums and webinars. She is the Editorial Board Member and reviewer of reputed journals in national and international levels. She is also the invited member of various reputed academic bodies of higher education as well as research domain. She was also the leader and facilitator of “Jagriti Yatra 2013”-A National Entrepreneurship Development Programme. Her research interests include Inclusive Education, lifelong learning, gender studies and history of education. She has previously served as member of BOT in CTPD, India and Academic Council Member of RPRIT, Kolkata (both of them are reputed NGO’s.).
Dr.Liton Mallick is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Swami Vivekananda University(SVU),Barrackpore, West Bengal, India. He holds an M.A.in Education, M.Phil., and Ph.D.in Education from Jadavpur University (J.U.), Kolkata, India. Dr. Mallick has contributed significantly in the field of education through his research papers, book chapters and articles published in peer-reviewed national and international level including Scopus enlisted journals. He serves as a reviewer for a reputed journal and has developed a standardized scale called “RAS”. Dr. Mallick supervises the research scholars of the Department of Education at SVU. Dr. Mallick has worked as a Research Assistant for various UGC, UPE-II and RUSA research projects.
Dr. Jayati Maiti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Swami Vivekananda University (SVU). She completed her Ph.D. in Education from the Department of Education, University of Kalyani. Prior to joining in SVU, she was the Principal of a reputed B. Ed. college. Dr. Maiti has been an invited speaker in national and international conferences and seminars. She possesses numerous publications in national and international publications to her credit. Dr. Maiti is also supervising the research scholars of the Department of Education at SVU.
He is working as Teacher Educator for the last 23 years, presently he is serving as Professor and Dean in Faculty of Education, Motherhood University, Roorkee,Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. He is a postgraduate in Economics, Sociology, and Hindi. He is also a postgraduate in Education (M.Ed) from the Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan. He has a doctorate in Education from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. He is a chief editor of two Journals- an International Journal of Education and Allied Sciences and Education Vision - A Journal of Education. He has written 8 books and published over 45 research papers and articles in National and International Journals. He has presented over 35 papers in various national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences in India. Presently he is secretary of the Council for Teacher Education Foundation-Uttarakhand Chapter. He has Supervised more than 45 M.Ed. dissertations and 8 Ph.D scholars. He has been awarded with Shiksha Shree Award-2024.
