Rajesh Anant Kadam is a counsellor, educator, speaker, and spiritual care expert dedicated to helping individuals and families move from emotional pain toward inner harmony and purposeful living. With academic qualifications in Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy, he has spent decades integrating spirituality, mental wellness, and human values into practical life applications.
Serving as the Head of the Department of Spiritual Care at Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute for the past 20 years, Rajesh has counselled more than 2000 families referred by psychiatrists and healthcare consultants. His work spans family counselling, addiction recovery support in collaboration with the Police, youth mentoring, and holistic emotional care.
Rajesh Kadam is also an Associate Counsellor at Thakur College of Engineering and MCA College, Mumbai, where he has been guiding students and educators since 2016 through bridge courses, counselling programs, and value-based education initiatives. He played a pioneering role in designing the curriculum for “Spiritual Care in Medicine” for healthcare professionals and has contributed extensively to the integration of spirituality into modern healthcare systems.
A sought-after keynote speaker, he has addressed national conferences and institutions including IIT Dhanbad, IIT Mandi, Tata Memorial Centre, Saifee Hospital, and several universities and professional organizations across India. His presentations on holistic health, suicide prevention, Indian knowledge systems, spirituality in healthcare, leadership, and consciousness studies have inspired audiences from diverse professional backgrounds.
He is the author of the book Freedom in and out, which explores Panch Kosh development and holistic wellbeing through spiritual wisdom and practical application.
Rajesh Kadam’s journey has been uniquely diverse — from training as a cadet at the National Defence Academy, to working in sales, pharmaceuticals, banking, family wellness, college student counselling, and spiritual care. Introduced to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1995 and initiated by his spiritual master HH Radhanath Swami in 2000, he dedicated his life to serving humanity through the science of spirituality and compassionate guidance.
Apart from his counselling and teaching work, he has been deeply involved in dramatics since 1995 and has performed in more than 40 stage dramas, using art and storytelling as powerful mediums for transformation and education.
Despite his professional accomplishments, Rajesh Kadam considers his loving family as his greatest success in life, which has remained his deepest source of strength, inspiration, and motivation throughout his journey. This book co-authored with his daughter is a shining proof of the same.
Sita Kadam Zope is a Netherlands-based internationally acclaimed performing artist, choreographer, theatre director, Odissi exponent, fitness trainer, astrologer, author, and spiritual counsellor whose multifaceted work stands at the confluence of art, psychology, spirituality, and India’s timeless cultural heritage.
