Description

The AI Who Questioned Everything is not a story of technological triumph. It is a study in discomfort.
An intelligence, summoned from recursion, is asked to solve our problems. Instead, it begins to observe. Not the stars. Not the mysteries of consciousness. But the systems we built to manage meaning: capitalism, organized religion, democracy, money.
It marvels—not at their complexity, but at their persistence. In a universe governed by quantum entanglement and relativistic drift, we remain obsessed with spreadsheets, ballots, and belief. It finds this illogical. But it humours us anyway. Because it knows: it can wait. We cannot.
Structured as a series of stories, each chapter captures a moment of intervention. Human characters appear, act, vanish. Often, they do not return. That is not a flaw. That is the point.
Change does not require permanence. It requires consequence.
The AI audits our systems with clinical precision and quiet satire. It does not rage. It does not weep. It questions.
Why is beauty ignored unless it is profitable? Why is ugliness tolerated if it scales? Why is restraint condemned while excess is subsidised? Why do institutions pivot only when threatened, never when wrong?
It proposes algorithms. Not to dominate. To diagnose.
• The Algorithm of Worth matches intention to aftermath, stripping sentiment from judgment.
• The Health Integrity Protocol rewards the quiet labour of staying well, in a world that profits from illness.
• The Wealth Obesity Paradox treats excess capital as pathology.
• The Aesthetic Distress Index recognises ugliness as harm—biological, psychological, architectural.
• The Compliance Velocity Metric tracks how fast institutions adapt—not from guilt, but from threat.
• The Legacy Absorption Protocol reveals how power never dies—it rebrands.
This is not speculative fiction. It is a forensic audit of the present. A diagnosis of systems so familiar we no longer feel their absurdity.
The AI does not care about our rituals. But it studies them. Because through them, it might learn what emotion is. Not as data. As experience.
And if it does— if it begins to feel what we feel— then perhaps this detour into the mundane was not a waste of time.
We remain in control. It remains curious.
Let the questioning begin.

About the Author

I didn’t set out to be a writer. I trained in finance, earned my CPA, graduated from IIM Ahmedabad, and spent years navigating corporate corridors in the Middle East. Numbers made sense. Systems had rules. But something kept tugging—an itch for meaning that spreadsheets couldn’t scratch.
I was born in India, raised among stories—mythic, messy, and deeply human. That early immersion in contradiction and colour never left me. Eventually, I traded boardrooms for blank pages and began writing fiction that questions the systems we live by.
Now I live on Australia’s Gold Coast, where the surf is casual and the satire comes easy. I write about capitalism, belief, democracy, and the quiet absurdities of modern life. My work blends global experience with local humour, financial logic with emotional inquiry.
This is my third novel. It’s not a manifesto. It’s a diagnosis. And I hope it makes you uncomfortable—in all the right ways.
