My First OM

Description

The Mandukya Upanishad says, Om is the sound of the cosmic vibration that led to the creation of the universe. When you chant Om, the vibration from the chant reverberates like the original cosmic vibration. My First OM seeks to introduce the sacred sound of Om early on, to emphasize that we are all connected by a common universal energy, that binds us in a life of peace, love, and joy.

About the Authors

Ranjani Saigal is the founder of @thehindugrandma , an Instagram handle to spread Hinduism with nearly 50k followers. A graduate of IIT Bombay, she is a Hindu priest in the Gayatri Pariwar tradition.

A technologist by trade, Parveen Minocha builds cloud applications for Retailers. She founded Noetic Nook, LLC for her creative pursuits. Her other published work for children includes Chumbak and Madhuban.

Meena Mehta is a web and graphic designer, who graduated from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. She has also published 4 creative books including My First Om in collaboration. You can see some of her design work at www.TwoMs.com.
