Ever since we started cooking, each recipe in our diary, every whiff of aromas in our cauldron, all the textures of prepared dishes, and the entire experience of putting together a meal has been incredibly satisfying. Our fascination with food started when we were children. We'd watch our parents cook together for special family dinners over weekends and festivals. So cooking and experimenting comes naturally to both of us without having to attend culinary school.
In 2015, with a generous dollop of faith in ourselves, we decided to embark on the ambitious journey that is CauldronSisterss. We believe in simplified cooking. Our social media is loaded with our simple recipes, travel stories and everything we love about food. As food consultants, we have created recipes and curated menus for several restaurants and eateries. Our consultancy helps to make kitchens an experiment-friendly environment.
In 2018, we released our first book 'India ki Khichdi’ which had 51 Khichdi recipes. And that was just the beginning. Immediately, we set off on a passionate affair with Khichdi. After 3 years of diligent research and hands-on experience, in 2021, we reintroduced India ki Khichdi as 'Khichdi: Simple, Soulful, Soothing'. It was our effort towards putting the spotlight back on what we think is an ancient superfood of India. The paperback version of our book is available on Amazon.
