About the Author

Riddhi has been in the music industry for more than 25 years. His musical journey starts from childhood. His mother, Smt. Gargi Sanyal is a well-known Rabindra Sangeet singer and learnt from Legendary Suchitra Mitra at Rabithirtha. Grandmother, Smt Tripti Saraswati was a classical singer and had taken coaching to Pt. Jamini Ganguly and Legendary Sri Manabendra Mukherjee. Sister, Smt Madhupa Sanyal is vocalist and had learnt advanced lessons from Pt. Ajay Chakraborty at Shrutinandan. Musical gathering is common at home and sometimes everyone is deeply tuned into music, that even time passes from evening to late night on those homely musical occasions.

During childhood, Riddhi has learn Tabla from famous teacher Sri Abhijit Barhouri at Malda. During those days, famous singer Sri Alok Bhadhury, used to come home to teach music. During his college life, Riddhi has started to learn metallic Flute from his friend Sri Sajal Banerjee. Later on Riddhi has learned to play the Bamboo flute by self-practicing and performed in various functions.

Finally, he has made with musical Guruji, Sri D. Madhusudan at Kolkata class during 2010. Since then it is all Guruji's guidance. Riddhi has performed classical music, Raga, Light classical music, Rabindra Sangeet, Bollywood Golden Era songs, Patriotic songs etc. on Flute & Harmonica in lot of places - During Durga Puja, Diwali & Maa Kali Puja at Kolkata, Uttarpara, Malda, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Varanasi, Function at Bangalore, Mangalore, etc.

Riddhi loves to write lessons for students. He has designed the music course for Elementary level to Level 5 for the Musical Academy Beniyasahakala.
