What Inspired Me to Write “Love and Infatuation”

From gazing at the vast cosmos to unravelling the mysteries of love, my journey as a writer has been a reflection of my deepest passions—astronomy and human emotions. As an astrophile, the universe has always fascinated me, leading me to write Deep Space Exploration and About the Stars, books that delve into the wonders of the cosmos. However, beyond my love for the stars, I have also navigated the complexities of love and relationships first-hand.

The idea for Love & Infatuation was born in 2011, during a time when I found myself deeply immersed in the emotions of love, longing, and heartache. I began writing, pouring my thoughts and experiences onto paper, but somewhere along the way, life took over, and the project was left unfinished. Yet, the desire to complete this book never faded. It remained in the back of my mind, waiting for the right moment to be revived.

Years later, after completing my works on astronomy, I felt an undeniable urge to return to Love & Infatuation—to finally give voice to the emotions that had shaped me. This book is not just about theories or abstract ideas; it is a journey through love in its rawest form—its joys, its pains, and its profound impact on our lives.

Through this book, I hope to offer a deeper understanding of love, infatuation, heartbreak, and everything in between. Just as the universe holds endless mysteries, so does the human heart, and perhaps, in exploring both, we come closer to understanding ourselves.
