Relatable Poems!
Cherished is a book of poems penned by Author Riya Joseph. The book is a collection of 41 short read poems.
The language used is very lucid and flowy. Most of the poems are rhymed poems. Decision making, conversations to oneself, love, sacrifice, betrayal, lust, body shaming, self love, mother, lockdown, baking and a variety of other topics are discussed in this book.
I loved poems like 'Because nobody else can be' most. Many poems discussed women issues effectively. As my reading comfort zone is female fiction, I enjoyed reading those poems very well.
'Cherished' is a beginner friendly book which suits readers of all age groups. I recommend this book to all bibliophiles who welcome light read books in their tbr.
It was a four star worth book overall.
