Ryan Gracious Bannerjee is an aspiring author and
storyteller whose journey into writing began with
a simple desire to create stories of his own.
Before FEAST, Ryan experimented with different
ideas, characters, and genres through a collection
of unpublished amateur short stories, including
The Devil in the Library, Mutant Monkey, and Lost
in the Jungle. These early stories became a way for
him to explore his imagination, develop his voice,
and discover the enjoyment of bringing fictional
worlds and characters to life.
Writing FEAST became a much larger undertaking.
What began as an idea gradually developed into a
story about failure, self-doubt, determination,
identity, and transformation. Through the
character of Rison Adams, Ryan explores what it
feels like to be underestimated and the difference
that perseverance and the right influence can
make in someone's life.
Ryan's approach to storytelling is rooted in the
belief that a story does not have to be perfect to
be meaningful. Every story is part of the process of

learning, experimenting, improving, and finding
one's own voice.
His earlier short stories may have been
unpublished and amateur, but they represent an
important part of his journey as a writer. From The
Devil in the Library to Mutant Monkey and Lost in
the Jungle, each was another step toward the
author he wanted to become.
FEAST is Ryan's debut book and marks an
important milestone in that journey.
He hopes to continue writing, creating new worlds
and characters, and growing with every story he
tells.
