After a career spanning several decades in public service, he now devotes his time to writing, learning, travel, and exploring new interests. His memoir, *The Purushothaman Memoirs: My Journey My Truth*, is his attempt to preserve the memories and experiences that shaped his journey and to share them with family, friends, and readers.
