Description

CROSSLINE: An Indian Love Story
One lives for the frame. The other lives for the truth.
Kavya is a creature of the spotlight. A Delhi University influencer whose life is a series of curated moments, perfect filters, and expensive coffee. She has a plan, a checklist, and a 50k-strong audience watching her every move.
Arjun is a shadow in a white linen shirt. A man who belongs to the crowded lanes of Old Delhi and the rain-drenched soil of Bengal. He doesn’t have a following; he has a purpose. He doesn’t drink coffee; he drinks chai—strong, raw, and unapologetic.
When their worlds collide at a chaotic DU fest, a "Crossline" is drawn.
Driven by an impulse she can't explain, Kavya leaves her air-conditioned reality to follow Arjun into the heart of the Bengal Sector. Between election heat, missing children, and the dangerous silence of the border, she realizes that the most important stories aren't told through a lens—they are felt in the heartbeat of a stranger.
But in a world of bullets and bitter goodbyes, can a "Coffee" girl survive a "Chai" reality?
Ten years later, the headlines have been written, the fame has been won, and the checklist is complete. But as the Delhi rain falls, Kavya is still looking for the man who taught her that some lines aren't meant to be crossed—they are meant to be lived.
A raw, soul-stirring tale of the distance between who we are and who we are meant to be.

About the Author

Sachin Bhardwaj is a storyteller who finds music in the chaos of Delhi’s streets and poetry in the rain-soaked lanes of the hinterland.
Born and raised in the heart of India’s capital, Sachin grew up observing the invisible lines that divide us—between the digital and the real, the privileged and the forgotten, and the "Coffee" of the city and the "Chai" of the soul. He writes not to provide answers, but to capture those raw, unscripted moments where strangers become stories and memories become anchors.
With a deep love for the "Hinglish" rhythm of modern India, Sachin’s writing is a tribute to the human spirit that dares to step across the 'Crossline' in search of something true.
When he isn’t writing, you can find him observing the world through a lens or looking for that perfect cup of tea that reminds him of a promise kept.
