"You don’t know everything in your life; and that is what makes life interesting. To discover - dig deeper. A treasure of wisdom is already within you."
Our behavior is a combined effect of our nature and nurture. Nature is the result of genetic effects on people and nurture is our upbringing, food habits, education and environment in which we live. Our physique, class, culture, religion and habits are due to these two forces.
Habit has got a very specific characteristic. It is modifiable but it requires a lot of effort for modification. Change is required to be practiced for longer periods. We make resolutions and timetables, which generally land up as unsuccessful ventures. We read great books, biographies of great people, follow role models, and listen to preachers to change our habits and ourselves in terms of behavior, actions and life strategies.
I believe in the power of positive thoughts that makes people successful. I have summarized a few tips about life in book form which I hope will be of help to you all.
Words of importance, words that inspire have been collected from the lives of achievers, people of eminence, philosophy, sociology, religious practitioners and from many other resources.
The effort has been to make this collection helpful for crucial moments and difficult periods in your life. There are moments, favorable or unfavorable, in our lives. Dynamic changes in our circumstances, and the people around us. In such times great thoughts can soothe us, motivate us to keep moving forward.
The collection of ‘quotes’ in the book ‘THROUGH THE LENS’ will answer life’s big questions and will also help you cope with the rat-race which you encounter in your day-to-day life. Further, the book will also guide you towards enlightenment. The life of a child is an example of how one should lead his life to achieve and maintain happiness. How a child begins to walk illustrates so many lessons for us that we needn’t look for any other motivational GURU.
Because of your age and the juncture at which you are at the moment; the order, sequence and the contents on self-help lines may not be your preferred choice. However, the objective of living – living fully – was kept in mind; therefore, this content will be fully compatible with your required needs.
Everyone irrespective of age, profession or attitude can apply and make use of the words from this book. As each word isn’t applicable to everyone — all age groups, or at every period in his or her life — choose help from this book wisely.Wish you all happy reading and a long fruitful life.
