How many times have you wanted to know how the actors in old movies looked like? Of course, we are all familiar with the famous ones, Saigal, Ashok Kumar, Lila Chitnis, Madhubala. But how about many others whose names appear in the film cast and filmographies? This book is an attempt put faces to their names. In this book we have 21 Hindi films from 1938-40, whose videos are in our collection and captured more than 500 pictures of the cast.

About the Authors

Sheo Khetan has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He has been retired since 2005. He started watching films in the 50s and was mesmerized by them. So when he got a chance to work on pictorial filmography of Hindi films, he jumped into it. He has been capturing images from available films for the last four years. This is his second book on this project.

Professor Surjit Singh, a diehard movie fanatic, period. He is a retired Theoretical Physicist. He has been watching Hindi movies since 1952, has been collecting Hindi songs, movies and magazines since 1969, and has been writing about these things since 1996.
