Called as "Chetan Bhagat" of Odia literature by his readers, Subhransu Mohapatra is a bilingual author who writes both in Odia and English. A scientist and engineer by profession, he is an author by passion who has been writing since his childhood. He is known for his beautiful romantic poems and delightful short stories which have got approval from both readers and critics alike. He is the author of two poetry books "Patha Sangini" and "Tathapi Banchichhi" and short story collection "Choramane Asithile", all in his native language Odia. After its huge success in its original language, "Patha Sangini" has been translated in Hindi to allow readers throughout India and the world to enjoy the delightful modern Indian romantic poems in the book.

Subhransu has recently published his first English book "Don't forget to be happy in your career" which got featured on Amazon "Hot new releases" list. As a seasoned corporate professional with over 25 years of experience in diverse set-ups and industries, he loves mentoring his younger colleagues and this book captures the major learnings from his career to help the younger professionals navigate their career better. Subhransu has delivered invited talks at prestigious institutions such as IITs and IIMs and has been interviewed by numerous TV channels to inspire young people on their career journey. Subhransu loves to live his life to the full and has acted in poetry videos and is an active social volunteer. He was the founder editor of community magazine "Global Odia". He has chaired international conference sessions on community media.

Subhransu lives in Bangalore with his wife Susmita and children Adarsh and Ananya.
