एक सुवर्ण नगरी
जिथे शांति आणि समाधानाचे साम्राज्य होते. चहूबाजूंनी सागराने वेढलेला हा प्रदेश. विषुववृत्त छेदून जाणारी प्रधान यम्योत्तर. वसुंधरेचे मध्यमंडल आणि जणू धुरा सांभाळणारा भूभाग. पर्जन्याची कृपादृष्टी असलेली सुपीक धरती.
एक महायुद्ध
ज्यात एक नव्हे तर दोन प्रजाती नामशेष झाल्या. इंद्रालाही हेवा वाटावा असा जगाच्या उत्पत्तीपासून अस्तीत्वात असलेला राजवंश. जो अहंकार आणि प्रतिशोधाच्या अग्नीत बेचिराख झाला.
एक साम्राज्ञी
अप्सरेचे सौन्दर्य आणि देवी सरस्वतीची बुद्धिमत्ता ल्यालेली. बलाढ्य, नृपश्रेष्ठ पतीची प्रिय पत्नी आणि महापराक्रमी पुत्राची माता. सुवर्णाच्या प्रासादात निवास करणारी, अशी ही नृप पत्नी; जिच्या भाग्याचा कुणालाही हेवा वाटावा.
सर्वनाशाच्या साक्षी ह्या सुलक्षणी राजस्त्रीचे नाव होते मंदोदरी.
