G. Veerabhadra Raju, originally from East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, is currently based in Hyderabad, where he works in the private sector.

He was fortunate to be introduced to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita through his Guru, Swamy Thadathmanandha of the Arsha Bodha Centre. This exposure led him to deeply connect with the principles of Karma Siddhanta, Advaita Vedanta, and Sankhya philosophy.

Over the years, through reflection and understanding of these concepts, he developed a desire to explore and share his perspectives on life’s deeper themes - love, relationships, emotions, bonding, karma, the senses, consciousness, God, creation, and destruction.

This journey of expression began with his debut work “Baamma Cheppina Bangaaru Maata”, written under the pen name Athman Vyasa.

The name Vyasa signifies one who compiles and presents knowledge in a clear and understandable manner, while Athman represents the soul / the ultimate truth and reality.

Through his writings, he aims to present his thoughts and insights layer by layer, inviting readers on a journey of reflection, whether through fiction or reality, one book at a time.

జి. వీరభద్ర రాజు / కలంపేరు: ఆత్మన్ వ్యాస

ఈస్ట్ గోదావరి జిల్లాకు చెందిన జి. వీరభద్ర రాజు ప్రస్తుతం హైదరాబాద్‌లో ప్రైవేట్ ఉద్యోగం చేస్తున్నారు.
తన గురువు స్వామి తడాత్మానంద (అర్ష బోధ కేంద్రం) ద్వారా భగవద్గీత బోధలకు పరిచయం కావడం ఆయన జీవితంలో ఒక ముఖ్యమైన మలుపు అయింది.
ఆ తరువాత కర్మ సిద్ధాంతం, అద్వైత వేదాంతం, సాంఖ్య తత్వం వంటి విషయాలపై ఆయనకు మంచి ఆసక్తి పెరిగింది. కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలుగా ఈ విషయాలపై ఆలోచిస్తూ, అర్థం చేసుకుంటూ, జీవితం గురించి తనలో వచ్చిన ప్రశ్నలను పరిశీలించడం మొదలుపెట్టారు - ప్రేమ, సంబంధాలు, భావోద్వేగాలు, బంధాలు, కర్మ, మనస్సు, చైతన్యం, దేవుడు, సృష్టి, లయం వంటి విషయాలపై.

ఆ ఆలోచనల ప్రయాణంలో భాగంగా, “బామ్మ చెప్పిన బంగారు మాట” అనే తన మొదటి పుస్తకాన్ని "ఆత్మన్ వ్యాస" అనే కలంపేరుతో రాశారు.
"వ్యాస" అంటే జ్ఞానాన్ని సమకూర్చి సులభంగా, విడమరిచి చెప్పడం అనే అర్థం వస్తుంది.
"ఆత్మన్" అంటే పరమాత్మ / బ్రాహ్మణ్ / సత్యం.

తన రచనల ద్వారా, పాఠకులను ఆలోచించేలా చేయాలని, ఒక్కో విషయాన్ని సులభంగా అర్థమయ్యేలా చెప్పాలని ఆయన లక్ష్యం. ప్రతి పుస్తకం ఒక కొత్త ఆలోచనకు ఆహ్వానం అని ఆయన భావిస్తున్నారు.
