Description

From Conflict to Complementarity: Leading Across Generations in the Modern Workplace explores how people from different generations can work, learn and lead together.
Modern workplaces bring together people shaped by different experiences, expectations, technologies and ways of working. These differences can create misunderstanding and conflict, but they can also become a source of learning, innovation and organisational strength.
Drawing on more than four decades of professional experience across manufacturing, quality, technology, human resources, power projects and organisational leadership, Anil Kapoor presents a practical, experience-based perspective on generational differences.
The book explores communication, trust, mutual respect, coaching and mentoring, reverse mentoring, change, quality, ethics, technology, AI, crisis leadership and organisational learning.
At its heart is a simple idea:
Generations do not have to become the same to work effectively together. They need to understand, respect, learn from and empower one another.
The objective is not to manage generations separately, but to bring their different strengths together for a common purpose.
