Maharishi Patanjali Pratipadit Ashtanga Yoga :
Patanjali prescribed an eight-limbed process to reach the goal known as Ashtanga Yoga. There are eight limbs. Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi. Basically acts as a guide on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. They serve as prescriptions for moral and ethical conduct and self-discipline; They help us embrace the spiritual aspects of our nature.
