Dr. Pyar Singh is an academician, a researcher, a communicator, administrator, head of department, professor, and a renowned author with more than twenty years print, radio, TV, digital media, Head of School of Media & Mass Communication, Shimla University, Himachal Pradesh and visiting faculty of many universities. He worked across diverse ranges of news making, TV & All India Radio, magazines, leading newspapers, his passion for media and social studies, research and teaching students of mass communication. He has produced several articles and research articles in national and international journals of Elsevier and Scopus, and books on journalism & mass communication, and also scripted books of distance & open learning on the programs of journalism & mass communication in the university. Beyond media studies, he enjoys travelling for new research issues or research topics, which have shaped his compassionate worldwide. Not only has it, Dr. Pyar Singh earned name at National & International level as he is awarded with ‘National Faculty Award’ for his excellence in research and ‘Shaan-e-Himachal Pradesh’ State Award for literature. He presented himself through his research work in UNO’s organization WHO & UNESCO for his cardinal knowledge on contemporary issues of the world.
