Behavior Based Safety (BBS) - Concept & Implementation

Behavioral safety popularly known as behaviour based safety (BBS) is on the front page of industrial safety in Indian organizations.

Behavior Based Safety (BBS) is a requirement for every industrial organization as per OHSAS 18001:2007.
BBS is referred as to Become Brothers of Safety to save lives of people at the work place.

OHSAS 18001:2007 has included three clauses that emphasize behavioral aspects of safety for involving all employees to identify and control risks at workplace.

Struggle to manage safety situation at workplaces continues. Audits are done, awards have been received, and documents are in place. Still organizations wonder what to do to ensure safety of people. An injury hurts the organization because a factory inspector comes and investigates and asks so many unpleasant questions.

An unsafe worker can create accident in a safe environment and also a safe worker can remove accident in an unsafe environment.

This book is an excellent reference for practicing HR and safety managers in organizations to comply with behavioural aspects of safety as per OHSAS 18001:2007 clauses and its implementation.

Almost all organizations, public or private multinational, have implemented behaviour based safety in India.

This e-book is useful for implementing the concept of behaviour based safety in organizations.
