"#Genocidal" gathers words against genocide, knowing well that words have never managed to neutralise the impact of a bullet, bomb or bulldozer, nor the poison of human bias and brainwashing. These pages hold the Nazi death camps, the massacres in Africa, the erasure of Crimea and of course, the ongoing slaughter in Palestine—not as lessons, because no one learns, but perhaps as accusations. As evidence. As a bitter, useless refusal to let the dead be disappeared twice: first by murder, then by silence.
Maybe this book is just another wound turned monument. Maybe it’s just moral posturing for a future that will be just as indifferent as the present. But if we are doomed to bear witness in vain, then let it at least be said: "We saw. We named it. We did the barest minimum."
