About the Author
Imran Ameer Rahman is a doctor and author whose stories explore love, memory, mystery, and the things people leave unsaid.

Born and brought up in the United Arab Emirates, Imran spent his early years surrounded by different cultures and experiences that would later find their way into his writing. He eventually moved to Kerala to pursue medicine and completed his MBBS. While medicine became his profession, writing remained the place where his imagination found its own world.

His debut novel, My Schrödinger’s Girlfriend, went on to become a huge success, introducing readers to his distinctive style of combining romance, emotion, and unexpected turns. Its success encouraged him to continue writing and to explore stories that reach beyond conventional romance.

With Maharajas to Manhattan, Imran takes readers across continents and through a story where love is only the beginning. Set between the familiar streets of Kerala and the vastness of New York, the novel brings together memories, secrets, unanswered questions, and the fragile connection between two people whose lives refuse to remain in the past.
