A technology evangelist who thrives at the intersection of innovation and business, Prithwis currently serves as Director of Praxis Business School. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and a Masters and a Doctorate from the University of Texas at Dallas, US. His career spans roles at Tata Steel, as a partner at PwC, at IBM, and as a tenured professor at IIT Kharagpur.

As a tech pioneer, Prithwis introduced Relational Database technology at Tata Steel, created the eBusiness practice at PwC, and fell in love with Bitcoin while exploring the metaverse with SecondLife at IBM. In 2024, his fascination with AI led to the grant of a patent for his groundbreaking idea about a "Mechanism to motivate machines to acquire new and useful skills without human intervention."

Beyond his professional commitments -- which include textbooks on Python and Deep Learning -- Prithwis turns to fiction. He is the author of a science fiction trilogy -- Chronotantra | Chronoyantra | Chronomantra -- as well as a collection of Bengali cyber-crime detective stories. His literary work reflects a deep love for technology and a drive to explore beyond current limits.
