About the Author

Purnendu Ghosh was a Professor at IIT, Delhi. He is currently the Executive Director of the Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR), Jaipur. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and is currently its Vice President. He is the Founder-editor-in-chief of the INAE’s Journal of engineering sciences and the Founder-President of the Biological Engineering Society. Besides writing books in technical and non-technical genres, and research articles in engineering sciences, he has been a columnist for a major newspaper group. He lives in Jaipur.
